The resolution by American delegates visiting Israel, Prime Minister of the country Benjamin Netanyahu expressed his belief that there exists "mutually beneficial partnership" between Israel and the United States. During a meeting with local foreign journalists, Netanyahu also emphasized the desire to support this alliance based on shared values and interests of both countries.
"We clearly see the United States as an important strategic partner, and I also see that there exists a mutually beneficial partnership between Israel and the United States," said Netanyahu.
Presidential elections in the U.S. also had an influence on the discussed topic, and Netanyahu expressed hope that both sides will be able to continue joint work, regardless of the outcome of the voting in the American elections.
