The message, conveyed before his upcoming US visit, contained a barrage of insults and addressed the assassination of a Hamas leader and the subsequent violation of the ceasefire agreement.

The Israeli newspaper 'Yedioth Ahronoth' revealed a 'sharp' message sent by the White House to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which included a barrage of insults, before his upcoming visit to the United States later this month.

The sharp messages came during a meeting between Netanyahu and the U.S. Special Envoy for Syria, the U.S. Ambassador to Turkey, Tom Braak, which took place on Monday in Jerusalem.

Israeli Channel 12 confirmed that 'the White House conveyed a special and sharp message to Netanyahu, stressing that the assassination of senior Hamas military leader Raaed Saad constitutes a violation of the ceasefire agreement that was reached'.

The message also alluded to 'escalating tension between the Trump administration and the government'.
