Latifa Abu Hamid waited patiently with her family for the release of three of her children who were sentenced to life imprisonment in Israel.
The Israeli authorities announced on Thursday that they would release the prisoners after 20 years of detention.
In a statement to her, Latifa said: "These were long and difficult years for all of us, and today we are waiting for a moment of joy after a long pain."
She indicated that the family feels safe and proud of what her sons did, referring to their return safely to their homeland.
It should be noted that the three prisoners were sentenced to life imprisonment on charges of resisting the Israeli occupation.
