On Sunday, the organization 'United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East' (UNRWA), belonging to the United Nations, stated that it received an order from Israel.
UNRWA reported that Israeli authorities required the closure of a school in the village of Al-Lubban, located south of the city of Hebron on the West Bank along the Jordan River. This school is attended by children of refugees.
'UNRWA expressed deep regret regarding this decision by the Israeli authorities,' the organization noted in its statement.
The structure also added that the school closure in Al-Lubban occurred after recent actions involving security forces.
The organization emphasized concern related to the situation and called on Israeli authorities to urgently reopen the school, so children can continue their education.
