On Sunday, the Israeli army announced that it had destroyed several buildings in the town of Jenin in the northern part of the West Bank, which resulted in a thick black smoke rising over the town.
"The Israeli army entered Jenin and immediately targeted military equipment. Eight floors were destroyed, and buildings were demolished near the center of the city," according to the statements made by the Israeli army spokesperson regarding this operation.
