Hamas spokesperson, Hazem Qassem, stated that the occupation hinders the implementation of the aid and reconstruction process in Gaza, as agreed in the ceasefire. Qassem denounced that Israel has not allowed the restoration of the healthcare sector or the entry of necessary medical supplies, and that fuel supply remains insufficient, violating what was established in the agreement.

In a press release, Hamas accused Israel of delaying the aid and reconstruction process in Gaza. Mediators of the ceasefire agreement have been called upon to pressure Israel to urgently allow the entry of aid materials, such as tents, fuel, food supplies, and heavy machinery, as agreed, and to urge an end to the violations.

This conflict was triggered on October 7, 2023, and then a ceasefire was agreed upon on January 19 between Hamas and Israel, with mediation from Qatar, Egypt, and the United States. The ceasefire is divided into three phases, and negotiations for the following stages are currently underway. In the first phase of 42 days, the release of 33 Israeli hostages and more than 1,890 Palestinian prisoners is planned.
