Israel conducted limited military operations in the sector yesterday to exert pressure on negotiations for a truce and to halt the advance.
This information became known after the movement carried out a rocket attack on southern Israel, for which they reported that they responded to "violations against Palestinians."
"Israel will not tolerate violations of its territory and will respond to any aggressive actions," said an official representative of the Israeli army.
He also noted that the objective of the operation was to prevent the activities of the movement in the region and to protect Israeli citizens.
