The Israeli Ministry of Defense announced the launch of sound signals of alerts in the southern regions of the country on Tuesday evening. These signals were activated due to the launch of a missile from Yemen.
According to the words of a military representative, the speech concerns a rocket attack, as a result of which a missile was launched from Yemen towards Israel. At this moment, details of the incident are being clarified, and officials urge the population to stay connected with instructions on safety measures.
"We are taking all necessary measures to protect the population and ensure safety at the civilian front," stated the military representative.
So far, no reasons for the launch of the rocket have been reported, however, the situation is under the control of military agencies.
