On Monday, the Organization of United Nations expressed protest against "widespread destruction" of civilian objects due to Israeli airstrikes.
According to human rights advocates, civilian objects are under attack during the conflict in the Near Eastern region. Structural targets – such as vehicles, schools, or even purely civilian objects – can significantly cause damage. The issue – whether this was proportional and necessary military action.
The UN studies the extent of damage and can draw conclusions about compliance with international law. Additionally, they investigate cases of death of innocent civilians as a result of terrifying military actions and shelling. The international community is seriously addressing the crisis in the Middle East, calling for dialogue and peaceful resolution of the conflict.
"People, civilian objects, animals, all of this should not be affected," - emphasized the UN, condemning the events.
