Israeli sources reported that the American plan was proposed to the national Palestinian authority, including temporary control in the Gaza sector with the involvement of international forces and the withdrawal of the Israeli army.
"This proposal endows international forces full responsibility for ensuring security in Gaza and indicates that the Israeli army should leave this region," the source quoted.
It is assumed that such a mechanism of temporary management will allow gradually returning security forces of the national authority to this region, after which the process of reuniting Palestine can begin.
